Previous study reported that 26.8% of eyes with pseudophakic macular edema did not recover 6/6 vision. Clinically significant pseudophakic macular edema impairing patients' vision is found in 1-2% of patients with its peak 6 weeks following surgery, but subclinical macular edema can be seen in about 30% of patients in FA and up to 40% in OCT. To date, there are no uniform recommendations for the treatment of pseudophakic macular edema. Therefore, I will present two cases of pseudophakic macular edema here and discuss the strategies for treatment.
