His academic work spans clinical oncology, imaging science, epidemiology, and surgical techniques. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, international conference presentations, and case reports in retina and ocular oncology. He is also deeply committed to mentoring young ophthalmologists and promoting international collaboration. Dr. Chou actively participates in global ophthalmic societies including ISOO, AAO, APVRS, and EURETINA, and contributes to cross-institutional research projects connecting Asia, Europe, and North America. After returning to Taiwan, Dr. Chou aims to continue developing comprehensive ocular oncology services, integrate cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic innovations, and build sustainable international partnerships to improve outcomes for patients facing rare and vision-threatening ocular tumors.
