Dr.Chieh-Chih Tsai Taiwan

Dr. Chieh-Chih-Tsai is the Director (2013-2020), Orbit and Oculoplasty Division and Associated Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, Taipei Veterans General Hospital and school of medicine, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. He undertook her professional ophthalmic training at Taipei Veterans General Hospital, and undertook a clinical fellowship of the oculoplastic surgery at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA, and a research scientist at LA BioMed, Torrance, California, USA. He is on the Editorial Board of Taiwan Journal of Ophthalmology and Medicina. He has served as the secretary general (2017-2020) and executive council member (2023-2026) of the Ophthalmological Society of Taiwan. He is an international member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) and has been awarded the International Scholar Award (2014), and Achievement Award (2017). He also has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award (2021) by Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO). He has been the executive council member of the Taiwan Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2015. Recently, he has been listed in “Who Is Who of Taiwan in Biotechnology and Medicine 2020” due to his dedication to scientific research and publications.
