Prof. Dr.Ya-Chuan Hsiao
Doctor Hsiao graduated from National Yang Ming University and completed her ophthalmic residency at Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital. She had been a clinical and research fellow of department of glaucoma and department of pediatric ophthalmology at the Eye Center of Duke University, U.S.A. Now she is an assistant professor of college of medicine, Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and the director of international medical service center of Taipei City Hospital. She works as a glaucoma specialist at the department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Hsiao has a series of publications on diurnal fluctuation of intra-ocular pressure (IOP) in glaucoma. Her research interests focus on home tonometer in glaucoma, and school myopia in children. In basic science, she had a series of publications on tissue engineering of lacrimal gland.
