Dr.Cheng-Yung Lee
Dr. Lee is an ophthalmologist with clinical and research interests in vitreoretinal diseases and translational retinal science. He practices at National Taiwan University Hospital Hsinchu Branch and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Taiwan University College of Medicine. His clinical research focuses on the pathological changes underlying diabetic retinopathy and myopic traction maculopathy. His basic research particularly examines neuroinflammation and mitochondrial function, integrating molecular biology, multi-omics, and bioengineering approaches to study retinal neurodegeneration and vascular remodeling. Dr. Lee has contributed to academic publications and presented his work at international and regional meetings, including ISCEV, ARVO, APAO, and the Taiwan Retina Society.
