Current Major Positions Chief in General ophthalmology, Department of Ophthalmology, Cheng-Hsin General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan Brief Introduction A/Prof. Hsu is now the Chief in General Ophthalmology in the Eye Center of Cheng-Hsin General Hospital affiliated to National Chung-Cheng University and Yuan-Pei University of Medical Technology. A/Prof. Hsu has performed cataract phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation since 2006, and corneal refractive surgery (LASIK) since 2008. Meanwhile, A/Prof. Hsu has performed many methods to re-fix dislocated IOL in the proper position for difficult situation since 2010. With full of clinical experiences in the management of refractive error and cataract, he also has devoted himself into doing researches on medical retina (Anti-VEGF treatment for DME, RVO, AMD), vitreoretinal surgery, basic investigation on Acanthamoeba keratitis, science of environment, and improvement of public health in Taiwan.
