Professor Xiulan Zhang, MD, PhD, is a distinguished ophthalmologist at Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University, China. Recognized among the TOP 100 most influential ophthalmologists globally by the Ophthalmologist Power List (2014, 2023), and in the Asia-Pacific region (2023, 2025), she also ranked within the top 30 worldwide glaucoma experts according to Expertscape (2020-2024). Prof. Zhang actively contributes to leading ophthalmological societies, serving as vice president of the Asia-Pacific Ocular Imaging Society (APOIS), board member of the Asia-Pacific Glaucoma Society (APGS) and International AI in Ophthalmology Society (IAIOph), and as convener for the Glaucoma Scientific Program at APAO (2018-2025).
