Prof.Kyung In Woo

Kyung In Woo graduated from the Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1988. She completed an internship and Ophthalmology residency program at Seoul National University Hospital. She had a fellowship in oculoplastics at the Samsung Medical Center under the supervision of Prof. Yoon-Duck Kim. She had additional research experience in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, U.S.A with Dr. Gerald J. Harris. She also had an observership in oculoplastics and ocular oncology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, U.S.A. She is a professor in the Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Orbital Surgery Division at Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. She is an international member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She also served as president of the Korean Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. She is the immediate past President of the Asian Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
